It's Official!! We broke the World Record!!

A bulletin from Shuffle Demon Rich Underhill . . .

Dear fellow Saxamaphone players...

It's Official!! We broke the Guinness World Record for number of Saxophones playing a song!! And we FINALLY have the certificate to prove it. If you'd like to see it, click here..

Sorry it took so long to be officially recognized....We went on tour right after the Record Attempt, and then there were some signature issues so they downgraded us from 930 to 900, but in the end, we got the paper work and that's all that matters! They will decide at some point if they want to put us in the book...we'll keep you posted!

Thank you to each and every one of you who came out to help make musical history. It was a wonderful day all round and really fun...Notice how as soon as we broke the record there was no hockey and now that we received confirmation Hockey is back ....weird!

And in other news . . .

Warm bodies required!

Hey Wayne,

I hope you had a fabulous time playing at the Beaches Jazz Festival.. It's a bummer i was out of town otherwise i would have got to enjoy it too!!

I'm looking for new participants for this research project i keep pestering you about...

Do you know ANYONE who attended any school in downtown Toronto and who is between the ages of 30 and 60 who would be interested in doing a 1 hr. interview involving sharing their memories of school?

...[they DO NOT have to be drop outs as i had mentioned before nor do the schools need to be 'inner city' as i had indicated before..]

any leads would be much appreciated!

thanks a million,

Like to drink and argue?

Hello Everyone,

We'd like to get to know you all better. Having limited resources has meant that we are primarily an e-mail activist community during political downtimes. We'd like to fix that. In an effort to tap into our members' great ideas and energy, we'd like to invite you out for a drink.

On the 15th, of each month we will have an informal get-together at a local pub, to meet, chat and share ideas. There is no cost to attend this event (other than any food and drink you wish to purchase), Glen and I will grab a table and we look forward to meeting you.

Please join us!

15th of each month, 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm
