Game 0: May 3, 2006 Greenwood Park: BADGERS 24 @ Bain Bantams 27 EXHIBITION
A good workout untainted by defence on either side. |
Game 1: May 10, 2006 Riverdale Park: Badgers 31 @ Toronto Life 12
Many Badgers make light work. With 10 men and 7 women (and one player yet to report), this is the largest Badger squad ever fielded in the modern era. Please note that this is our official Game One, since TO Life are unavailable next week. Which would leave Badgers alone in first place. |
Game 2: May 24, 2006 Greenwood Park: Badgers 18 @ Redwood Mavericks 11
Mavericks make it scary in the middle, but the Badger defense holds. |
Game 3: May 31, 2006 Riverdale Park: Remnants 25 @ Badgers 12
Rain clouds threaten, but every day is a lovely day for baseball. |
Game 4: June 7, 2006 Riverdale Park: Bain Bantams 13 @ Badgers 11
Defence rules in a tight and exciting contest that was tied after five complete. |
Game 5: June 14, 2006 Riverdale Park: Opera 7 @ Badgers 17
Defence rules. Badgers make few mistakes. After one tour through the league, the Badgers are three and two. |
Game 6: June 21 Riverdale Park: Badgers 18 @ Toronto Life 16
A nailbiter at Riverdale Park. The double play in the seventh forgives the fumbling in the fourth. |
Game 7: June 28, 2006 Riverdale Park: Redwood Mavericks 12 @ Badgers 13
For the first time in living memory, the Badgers go into the sixth inning with only four runs, but finally solve the impressive Maverick defence. |
Game 8: July 5, 2006 Stanley Park: Badgers 9 @ Remnants 22
Badgers begin a gruelling three-week road trip. |
Game 9: July 12, 2006 Greenwood Park: Badgers @ Bain Bantams After several days of rain, the fields are a bit soggy. Game 9 is rained out. |
Game 10: July 19, 2006 Stanley Park: Badgers 9 @ Opera 19
Badger bats once again fail to crack the double digit threshold. |
Game 11: July 26, 2006 Riverdale Park: Toronto Life 18 @ Badgers 19
Toronto Life keep it close and pull ahead in the seventh, but Badgers end it with a walk-off homer. |
Game 12: August 2, 2006 Riverdale Park: Badgers 22 @ Redwood Mavericks 5
A summer scorcher. Hot?! You'd better believe it! |
Game 13: August 9, 2006 Stanley Park: Badgers 5 @ Remnants 18
Oog! |
Game 14: August 16, 2006 Riverdale Park: Bain Bantams 15 @ Badgers 13
Argh! |
Game 15: August 23, 2006 Stanley Park: Badgers 11 @ Opera 14
Ugh! |
Semi-final: August 30, 2006 Stanley Park: Badgers 9 @ Remnants 11
Badgers throw a scare into them, but Remnants hold on and go on to win the final. |
Final: Sepember 6, 2006 Stanley Park: I forget the score, but it was a good, close game. Bain scored a whole bunch of runs in the sixth to take the lead and Remnants had to pull it out in the bottom of the seventh. Some great defence by both sides. |
